Mailday Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of the Mailday Service. It is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP. Repeat or material violations may be reported to applicable authorities and platforms.
1. Prohibited content and activities
You will not use the Service to create, send, host, share, publish, or process content or take actions that:
1.1 Are illegal or facilitate illegal activity
- Violate any applicable law (export controls, sanctions, tax, securities, consumer protection)
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others
- Constitute defamation, harassment, threats, or invasion of privacy
- Promote, glorify, or facilitate violence, self-harm, terrorism, or human trafficking
- Sexually exploit, endanger, or sexualize minors
1.2 Are deceptive or fraudulent
- Phishing, identity theft, deepfake impersonation, or pretexting
- Misrepresenting the source or origin of communications (forged headers, falsified sender identity)
- Fake reviews, paid endorsements without required disclosure, or undisclosed affiliate content where disclosure is legally required
- Pump-and-dump or other manipulative financial promotion
- Pyramid schemes, multi-level-marketing schemes that violate the FTC's guidance, or other deceptive monetization
- Issuing invoices for goods or services not delivered
1.3 Are spam or abuse messaging
- Bulk messages without recipient consent or a valid legal basis
- Non-compliance with CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR e-marketing, TCPA, or other anti-spam laws
- Email-list scraping, list-purchasing for unsolicited mail, or harvesting addresses
- Concealing a working unsubscribe mechanism in marketing email
- Sending from misleading sender identities
1.4 Harm the Service or others
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code
- Probing, scanning, or testing for vulnerabilities without prior written authorization
- Penetration testing without an authorization agreement (contact security@mailday.ai)
- Introducing malware, viruses, worms, ransomware, or other malicious code
- Circumventing rate limits, authentication, billing, or access controls
- Using bots, scrapers, or automation to extract data beyond intended use
- Overloading or unduly burdening the Service, including denial-of-service attacks
1.5 Violate connected platform policies
- Violating Meta's Platform Terms, Community Standards, or Branded Content policies (Instagram, Facebook, Threads)
- Violating TikTok's Community Guidelines or Branded Content Policy
- Violating YouTube's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- Violating X's Developer Agreement and Policy or the X Rules
- Violating Pinterest's Community Guidelines or Creator Code
- Manipulating engagement metrics (fake likes, follows, views, comments, repins)
- Posting AI-generated content where the relevant platform requires disclosure without that disclosure
1.6 Misuse AI Features
- Using AI to generate content that violates this AUP
- Using AI to impersonate a specific real person without their consent
- Using AI to produce defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory content targeting individuals
- Using AI to make material legal, medical, financial, or other professional decisions without human review
- Using AI to deceive recipients about whether they are interacting with a human
- Generating sexual content involving minors or non-consensual sexual content
- Bypassing AI safety measures or attempting to extract system prompts
1.7 Misuse the assigned inbox
- Sending unsolicited bulk email
- Forging or altering message headers
- Using the inbox to evade enforcement actions on other platforms
- Using the inbox to harvest credentials or impersonate businesses
1.8 Misuse payments and payouts
- Using Stripe Connect or Stripe Invoicing for transactions unrelated to legitimate member or workspace business
- Money laundering, structuring, or sanctions evasion
- Processing payments for restricted businesses
- Receiving payouts for services rendered through prohibited content above
2. Endorsement and disclosure rules
Because the Service supports member–company relationships, you also agree to:
- Disclose material connections: If you receive consideration (cash, free products, comp travel, etc.) from a company, comply with FTC Endorsement Guides, ASA (UK) rules, EU consumer protection guidance, and other applicable disclosure rules in your jurisdiction.
- Disclose AI-generated content where required by platform policy or applicable law.
- Honor company contracts: do not publish company content in ways that materially violate your written agreement with the company.
3. Reporting violations
Report suspected violations of this AUP to abuse@mailday.ai. Include the relevant URL, message ID, screenshots, and a description.

For security issues, contact security@mailday.ai. We support responsible disclosure; do not test systems without prior authorization.
4. Enforcement
We may, without limitation:
- Issue warnings
- Remove or block content
- Suspend AI Features
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Withhold or reverse payouts in connection with violations
- Cooperate with law enforcement and connected platforms
- Pursue legal remedies
We will use reasonable judgment and may consider the severity, repetition, and impact of violations.
5. Updates
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice.
